Fladgate advises on the acquisition of Haché Group

Fladgate LLP has advised on the acquisition of Haché, the multi award-winning gourmet burger group.

New owner Hush and its senior management team comprising Jamie Barber (co-founder of Hush and Cabana), Ed Standring (former managing director of Richoux Group) and Ian Neill (former chief executive of Wagamama) are planning an expansion and refurbishment of Haché which was established over 12 years ago, and has sites in Camden, Chelsea, Clapham, Balham and Shoreditch.

Commenting on the acquisition, Jamie Barber said: “Haché is the daddy of them all and started the premium burger movement back in 2004. We are delighted to be involved.”

Ed Standring said: “We are thrilled to be working with such a well-loved brand. We are planning a gentle programme of refurbishments over the next 12 months while bedding in new systems and integrating the business. We’re excited about the potential of the brand and its people.”

Corporate partner, Julian Lewis, who led the Fladgate team added: “We are delighted to have helped Hush embark on the next stage of its development by completing the acquisition of this well-known burger chain and look forward to working with Jamie Barber and the team as they take the combined group forward.”
