About

I am a multi-national corporate lawyer with over 35 years’ experience helping dynamic and innovative Israeli clients navigate corporate and commercial activities in the UK. I specialise in managing complex transactions across capital markets and lower-mid market M&A with deals ranging from £5-100m. I am qualified to practise in England and Wales, Israel, New York, New Zealand and Victoria Australia.

My client base is a blend of corporates, family offices and high net worth individuals. I pride myself on collaborating closely with my clients, putting myself in their shoes and supporting them from deal inception to completion. My approach is relationship-centric, building strong and long-lasting relationships with my clients. I have many clients for whom I have been acting for over 30 years and in some circumstances, in relation to some of these families, I am now acting for the third generation.

Born in the United States, I was raised and educated in Israel where prior to attending university I completed three years national service. Upon my discharge I attended the Hebrew University where I firstly graduated in politics and international relations and subsequently, in 1985, I graduated in law. Following graduation I then trained under two Supreme Court judges (Justices Bejski and Barak) which included working on a commission of enquiry known as the Bejski Commission into the collapse of the banking system in Israel.

My journey then took me briefly to New York where I passed the bar, and then for family reasons I moved to the United Kingdom where I was employed at a small multi-national law firm based in London with branches in New York and Auckland. Shortly thereafter I moved to Fladgate on 1 May 1989 and I have been happily practising here ever since. When I joined Fladgate it was a small practice of some 20 partners and over the years I have made an integral contribution to its growth into the large and successful practise it is today.
