Fladgate advises BB7 on investment by BGF and acquisition of Omega Fire to create UK's leading fire and security consultancy.
Law firm Fladgate has advised fire sector specialist BB7 on the investment of £6m by BGF, the UK and Ireland’s most active investor in growing businesses, to create the leading UK fire and security consultancy through acquisition. This began with the acquisition of Manchester based specialist fire consultancy Omega Fire, which will broaden BB7's geographic reach and service offering.
BB7 is a fire safety and security consultancy with eight offices nationwide and 60 expert advisors. Founded by renowned fire expert Ben Bradford in 2009, it offers three core services to clients: fire engineering, fire risk management and security consultancy.
Omega Fire is headquartered in Manchester and provides fire engineering, computational modelling and fire risk management services through a team of qualified engineers. It is a fast-growing and highly profitable specialist in its sector.
Corporate partner Ian Brent led a team from Fladgate comprising Liam Bracken (corporate), Caroline Philipps (employment) and Gemma Grunewald (tax).
