The team members are either native Germans, or have worked or studied in German-speaking countries. Drawing together expertise from across our firm, the team provides legal expertise based on a practical understanding of the respective legal systems and business cultures, and the economic and cultural distinctions between the UK and Germany, Austria and Switzerland. • Selecta AG: advising Selecta and its owner Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) on the acquisition of the UK-based Express Vending Group Limited.
• Assmann Büromöbel: acquisition of shares in Frem Group Screens Limited, a British manufacturer of exclusive lounge furniture, soft seating and acoustics solutions.
• Schumacher Packaging Group: acquisition of UK packaging manufacturer Jaffabox.
• PriceHubble: acquisition of Dataloft, a UK residential property market intelligence company and WhenFresh, a UK residential property data bureau delivering data and decision engines to banks, insurers, the public sector and other Big Data users.
• Gira: acquisition of the entire issued share capital in The Wandsworth Group Limited, a premium manufacturer of switch ranges made of finished metal and professional emergency call systems for hospitals and care facilities.
• KRW Schindler / June Fund: advice on various venture capital investments in the UK.
• Athmer ohG: advised on a number of UK acquisitions and investments.

• Feri Finance AG: disposal, by a subsidiary of Feri Finance AG, Germany’s leading independent research and wealth management company, of Feri Fund Market Information Ltd to Reuters.
• Papier Mettler International: acquisition of the UK paperbag manufacturer Welton Bibby & Baron.
• VAE GmbH, a member of the VOEST Alpine Group: purchase of CDS Rail Limited, a leading railway asset monitoring systems business.
• Cultuzz Digital Media GmbH: acquisition of Recommended Hotels. The transaction has enabled Cultuzz to strengthen its footprint in the UK through the acquisition of a company specialising in generating bookings for independently owned hotels, apartments and venues through online travel agents.
• Miba Gleitlager GmbH, a subsidiary of Vienna listed Miba AG: acquisition of a 24.9% stake in the share capital of Teer Coatings Limited, a worldwide leader in the area of high-tech PVD Coatings.
• Interquell: restructuring a new importing and consignment stock agreement between Interquell, the leading German pet food manufacturer of the brands “Happy Dog” and “Happy Cat”, and its UK importers.
• Yellow Promotion, the German based promoters of the United Kingdom Ukulele Orchestra (TUKUO): successfully defending TUKUO against an injunction sought by The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain to stop TUKUO from performing under that name.
• Fuchs Lubritech (UK) Limited, the UK subsidiary of leading German specialist lubricant manufacturer Fuchs Lubritech: freehold sale of its factory and warehouse premises in North London to GLEP Developments Limited.
• Stockmeier Urethanes GmBH & Co. KG: purchase of Greenfield Polymers Limited, the West Yorkshire based producer of polyurethane, epoxy and silicone thermoset resin systems.
• Palm Recycling Limited: purchase, by a member of the Papierfabrik Palm Group, of the business and assets of Cheshire Recycling Limited, a member of the Abitibi Bowater Group.
• Weltec Biopower GmbH: various contracts for the construction of anaerobic digestion and CHP plants.
• RUAG, the Swiss aerospace company: on entry of commercial contracts with various aviation companies, including Airbus.
• Klingelnberg GmbH: terms of supply of automotive components to a luxury car manufacturer.
