About

I specialise in arbitration with extensive experience running large, high-value and technically complex commercial disputes. I have a broad range of experience with major institutional rules and ad hoc arbitration, as well as with the English courts and internationally.

Qualified in both common and civil law jurisdictions, I help clients navigate disputes with a strong international element. I have particular experience on cross-border issues of jurisdiction and injunctive relief through both the Courts and Emergency Arbitrator proceedings and I have represented and guided clients in a significant number of mediations.

My focus is on putting together and executing the best strategy to achieve my clients’ goals. I advise a range of global clients, especially in the energy (including upstream oil and gas), resources, and the automotive sectors. I have a strong track record advising on disputes arising out of supply contracts, JV and shareholder agreements, and post-M&A transactions.

I am qualified in both England & Wales and Hong Kong (currently not practising) and I am also admitted to the Paris Bar.

Outside of work, you will find me planting trees, rewilding my garden, or hiking in the countryside.
