Our Service

Our Technology, Procurement & Outsourcing team handles a wide range of transactions and advisory projects, with expertise across a number of sectors such as financial services, healthcare, life sciences, technology and energy. Partners in the team are recognised and ranked by leading directories such as Chambers & Partners and Legal 500.

Technology

We advise clients on an extensive range of technology transactions, including software licensing, cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS etc.), systems integration, professional services, collaboration and commercialisation agreements, and complex technology procurement deals. From strategic planning to contract negotiation and implementation, we guide clients through the intricacies involved in buying and selling technology-related goods, services and solutions.

Outsourcing

We advise on a wide range of outsourcing transactions including information technology, business processes (e.g. finance & accounting, procurement, HR) and facilities management. We are often asked to help with structuring, as well as procuring and negotiating complex outsourcing transactions, both onshore and offshore, with experience advising both customers and suppliers. We also advise clients on restructuring their outsourcing arrangements as well as assisting with exit and reprocure scenarios.

Our team advises on a wide range of regulatory issues, such as data protection, cybersecurity and transfer of employment (TUPE), as well as industry-specific requirements including the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing, the AI Act and DORA. We strive to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique needs and drive their success in an increasingly competitive, regulated and technology-driven business landscape, advising our clients on the legal implications of new and disruptive technologies, such as automation, artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and augmented reality.
